Joining in with Ginny at Small Things of the Yarn Along. ~"Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other peop
le are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~"
**I'm sorry for linking multiple times, I was working on my mobile device and it went whacko and I couldn't get it to erase the first link up! **

**First, I need your help! About 2 Yarn Alongs ago, someone posted a link to a beautiful toddler cardigan that they made for their daughter. It was rainbow colored and lovely.  I remember it had a link to a pattern.  I cannot find it for the life of me, so if this was you or you remember it, please let me know?  I would love to make that for my Wee Girl. Thanks!**

Off the needles and STILL on the baby girl:

Willow is still wearing her Kimono (pattern HERE Longies that I made for her months ago  (read more about those HERE) despite the  growth spurt and despite the fact that she tries to take every.single.article.of.clothing.off.and be.naked.all.of.the.time.even.in.public! ha!
OUT OF THE DYE BATH:
Since I keep naming my dyed wool after song titles (Man of Constant Sorrow HERE, Purple Rain, etc) , I decided that these 2 should follow suit.
I dyed some more wool this week, Merino Superwash Fingering Weight, luscious and lovely

I did 2 560 yard skeins

The one on the left is called "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone" and the one on the right is "Sunshine" (smile!)

OFF THE NEEDLES:

Using my hand dyed yarn Man of Constant Sorrow   I knitted my sweet (YO) girlfriend, who is expecting her sweet baby at the end of the month, a newborn hat.  It looks HUGE here but trust me, it is teeny.  I double stranded with some brown Fisherman's Wool for this hat.  I planned on making her a pair of longies to match but I messed up on the gauge, and instead (following pic) ended up with a pair for my sweet Willow instead.  I hope to still make her longies if I have enough Merino left over :)
Willow's longies.  Just a bit more on the leg and then the end is in sight!  So warm and toasty for this wonderful cool fall here in the Ville

ON THE NIGHT STAND:
I received this awesome book from my Mama for my birthday last week!  I love every single itty bitty inch of this book!! My soon to be project will be a "fern" sweater for Willow. YOW! I am excited!!!!!

this book captured me from the jump (midwife in training that I am ) and I loved each and every twist and turn and I highly recommend it!
sweet girl ready for the Farmers' Market.  She is donning her new hat made by my sweet friend Kerri
IN THE BARN AND WOOL:
MY SWEET GIRLS!

Zarian loving on Lumi Girl

we made a wool sunshine and ocean out of roving

we added hot water and soap and Cai had a fun time making it felt down into a picture

it kept him busy while I worked on math with my middle son.  tactile boy that he is :)

rub rub rub, turn that roving into felt!

that same sweet pink hat friend made me these awesome crochet lovelies!  I can't crochet so this is amazing to me.  a phone cover and a scrubby!  yay!
and an Alpaca hat for the 10 year old birthday boy
PRETTY THINGS:

can you see the wings and the body and the head??!!
body, wings and head, in such a divine color combination!
I am so gracious for this flower!
I can't wait to see what you have been reading and yarning!
